A carburetor overhaul or rebuild
involves the air cleaner, vacuum hose, car fuel line, and a number of other
parts and most importantly it involves the entire procedure of disconnecting it
from the intake manifold so that it can be inspected and upon inspection can be
rebuilt if it is in an extremely bad condition. It is a complex procedure that
needs to be done very carefully.
